Peer Review Policy
The Journal of Taiji Science (JTS) follows a double-blind peer review policy to ensure fairness, transparency, and academic integrity. Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the process. All submissions are first screened by the editorial team for relevance and quality before being assigned to expert reviewers.
Reviewer Responsibilities
- Provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations.
- Assess the manuscript’s originality, scientific rigor, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
- Maintain strict confidentiality throughout the review process.
- Disclose any conflicts of interest promptly.
- Refrain from using any part of the manuscript for personal benefit.
Review Criteria
- Alignment with Taiji science and traditional health practices
- Scientific and conceptual clarity
- Contribution to academic or applied knowledge
- Sound methodology and data interpretation
- Compliance with ethical research standards
Review Timeline
Reviewers are expected to submit their comments within 21 days of accepting a review assignment. Extensions may be granted upon request in advance.
Ethical Guidelines
JTS adheres to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) standards. Reviewers must report any suspected plagiarism, data fabrication, ethical violations, or duplicate publication.
Reviewer Recognition
- Annual public acknowledgment on the journal website
- Reviewer certificates available upon request
- Opportunities for editorial board nomination or forum speaking roles
