Copyright Transfer Agreement
Thank you for submitting your manuscript to the Journal of Taiji Science (JTS). In order to proceed with publication, all authors must agree to the following Copyright Transfer Agreement. This agreement enables JTS to publish your work and ensures compliance with legal and ethical standards in academic publishing.
A. Copyright
- All authors affirm they are the sole contributors and hold full rights to the manuscript and its content.
- By signing this agreement, authors transfer to JTS the rights necessary to publish, distribute, reproduce, and modify the manuscript, including images, audio, and text, for editorial and promotional purposes.
- JTS may create derivative works (e.g., journal covers, video media, merchandise) and may translate the content into other languages.
- Upon acceptance, authors grant JTS the right to publish the manuscript globally, in any format or language, for the full copyright term, including renewals.
- After publication, any reuse must cite JTS with full reference. A link to the final article is encouraged.
B. Retained Rights
Authors and/or their employers retain any applicable copyright or patent rights for processes or ideas described in the manuscript.
C. Uses by the Contributor
- Authors may self-archive the accepted version on personal websites, distribute reprints, and share with colleagues.
- Authors may reuse the content in oral presentations and future research.
- No restrictions exist for authors to commercially reuse their own images or text.
D. Copyright Owned by Employers
If the work was created as part of employment and owned by the employer, the employer must also sign this agreement and agree to its terms.
E. Copyright Ownership Statement
The author(s) represent and warrant that:
- All authors and co-authors are correctly listed and agree to this agreement.
- All necessary rights and permissions are secured, including third-party content.
- The manuscript is original, has not been submitted elsewhere, and contains no unlawful or libelous material.
- All conflicts of interest are disclosed within the manuscript.
- Any sources of funding or relevant financial interests are disclosed, or a statement of no conflicts is provided.
Note: This agreement becomes null and void if the manuscript is not accepted for publication.
