May 4-10, 2014
The West Tennessee Strawberry Festival is a 76-year tradition in Humboldt, an opportunity for a classic West Tennessee homecoming as people travel from across the country to enjoy the events, the food and the fellowship of family and friends. Along with instruction for growing and marketing the strawberry, those who attend are entertained, and contests and events are planned simply for enjoyment and fellowship. Beauty revues, music, the horse show, fireworks, the recipe contest, the carnival, parades with floats and bands, the 5K & 10K runs, the pet parade, festival cuisine and more are all a part of the attraction. What’s missing? You are! Now is the time to contact the Festival leadership or the Humboldt Chamber to determine how you may “plug in” to all the activities of Festival planning, a year-round process, and then the presentation, always the first full week of May. There truly is a place for everyone!
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PARADES ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY WILL BEGIN AT 10:00AM. ***Horseshow is rescheduled for NEXT FRIDAY May 16*** Thank you and enjoy the festivities!!!
